History Bunzl Foodservice
Bunzl Foodservice, formerly Hopa Disposables, was acquired in 1994 by the Bunzl Group as the first company in the Netherlands. Since 2005, former Gelpa (now Bunzl Retail & Industry) has also been part of Bunzl, in August 2007 King Netherlands was included in the Bunzl Group, followed by Worldpack in 2008 and Van 't Veer in 2010. In 2011, Majestic Products and D- Care added to the group. In 2014, Bunzl continued to grow in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Allshoes in 2014, followed by De Ridder and Janssen Packaging in 2015. These additions ensure a strong position in the market.
